The HVAC SAVE program is a regional HVAC contractor training and certification initiative. This training teaches the skills necessary to determine actual effective efficiency of any functioning HVAC system and includes hands on demonstrations on how to perform critical HVAC diagnostics. 

Students who successfully pass the exam will receive the HVAC SAVE certification indicating their competency in HVAC performance and verification testing.

The fee to take this course is $600.

This day of training is for Consumers Energy customers and BOC graduates who wish to fulfill annual maintenance points for renewal in 2018. The cost for this day of training is normally approximately $250, yet as a service to our customers it is entirely underwritten by Consumers Energy and provided free of charge.

Building Operator Certification (BOC) Level II training includes nearly 61 hours of classroom and project work (6.1 CEUs) in building systems operation and maintenance.
