Make the Most of Your Membership

MEEA plays an important role in forging partnerships, promoting new technologies and curating the evolving conversation around economic sustainability and environmental stewardship from energy efficiency.   

Not sure where to start? Here are a few ideas to get going: 

  • Read our member benefits one-pager – This packet will introduce you to everything MEEA. It is a great resource if you want more detailed information.  

  • Take our new member survey – We want to hear from our new members. Not only will this help us get to know you better, it will help us deliver more relevant information to you and your organization. 

  • Sign up for our Newsletters – We offer four different newsletters that deliver EE insights right to your inbox. Be sure to add mwalliance.org to your safe sender list to ensure emails won’t end up in your spam folder. 
  • Follow us on LinkedIn – Stay up to date with upcoming webinars and recently posted blogs here.

Ongoing Member Opportunities

  • Introductions – Bookmark our member list and tell us who you'd like to connect with. We can make personal, one-on-one introductions.
  • Committees – Members are always welcome to join one of our many committees. We host the following committees: Policy, Building Policy, Workforce, Conference Advisory, DEI, Inspiring Efficiency Awards and Utility Research and Development.

  • Energy Efficiency 101 – Get your new staff up-to-speed with our Energy Efficiency 101 course. 

  • Webinars – Highlight what your organization is working on. Share a successful program, case study or new technology. Webinars provide a chance for members to learn about each other and from each other. 
  • Newsletter Content Submission – Members have the exclusive opportunity to submit job openings, RFPs, press releases and more to MEEA for the inclusion in our monthly newsletter, the MEEA Minute. The Minute goes out the third Wednesday of each month. All you need to do is email your items to mkbond@mwalliance.org.
  • Referrals – Refer a colleague to a MEEA Newsletter. Did you know Membership Benefits cover all individuals at your organization?
