One of the most common reasons organizations join MEEA is to raise their visibility in the industry. MEEA membership can help build your reputation, promote your successes and attract industry-leading partners. The best part: these benefits are included at no extra charge as part of your membership.

Here are 5 ways we can help your organization stand out from the crowd:

1. Present on MEEA Webinars

If you have a successful project, program or technology you’d like to share, MEEA webinars are a great platform to connect with hundreds of energy efficiency decision makers.

By leading engaging discussions about new trends and ideas, you’ll establish your staff as experts in the field and make new business connections.

We’ll promote and host the webinar; you choose the content and speakers. Contact Jen Rhodes at jrhodes@mwalliance.org to get started.

2. Post in the MEEA Minute Members Section

Big merger? New publication? Company milestone? Whatever you’d like to promote, share it in the MEEA Minute, our monthly newsletter to more than 5,000 energy efficiency professionals.

To submit for the MEEA Minute, email Chris Partridge (cpartridge@mwalliance.org) with a short write-up (50-100 words). The Minute hits inboxes mid-month.

If you’d like to subscribe to the MEEA Minute, sign up here.

3. Post RFPs and RFIs

Find business development opportunities and qualified subcontractors with help from the RFP section on MEEA’s website. MEEA members can post RFPs by emailing Chris Partridge at cpartridge@mwalliance.org.

4. Join Member Committees

By joining MEEA committees, you join the conversation. Sharing your input on 2020 MES agenda, helping to select Inspiring Efficiency Award winners or sharing your ideas for Program Committee webinars puts your expertise on display and helps your fellow members get to know you.

MEEA Member Committees:

  • Policy Committee
  • Program Committee
  • Membership Committee
  • Conference Advisory Group
  • Inspiring Efficiency Awards Review Group
  • Midwest LUMEN Collaborative (utility lighting professionals only)

To sign up or learn more, email membership@mwalliance.org.

5. Nominate Your Program for an Inspiring Efficiency Award

Are you a part of a remarkable and exciting program or campaign? Apply for an Inspiring Efficiency Award in one of five categories: Education, Innovation, Impact, Leadership or Marketing. Share why you and your team or company have raised the bar with energy efficiency implementation or market penetration.

All nominees, regardless of winning status, are highlighted in the IEA Dinner and Gala program, so people from across the industry can reach out to learn more.

Nominations for the 2020 IEAs are being accepted through September 13, 2019. Start your application.
