Energy Resources Center at UIC

The Energy Resources Center (ERC) is an interdisciplinary public service, research, and special projects organization dedicated to improving energy efficiency and the environment. Based out of the College of Engineering at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC), the ERC was established in 1973 by the Board of Trustees as an approved Illinois Board of Higher Education center.

EEC was created and is supported by a diverse group of organizations united by mutually important consumer issues. Edison Foundation Institute for Electric Innovation

The Edison Foundation Institute for Electric Innovation focuses on advancing the adoption and application of new technologies that will strengthen and transform the power grid.  The Institute’s members are the investor-owned electric utilities that represent about 70 percent of the U.S. electric power industry.  The membership is committed to an affordable, reliable, secure, and clean energy future.

E Source provides independent research, advisory, and information services to utilities, major energy users, and other key players in the retail energy marketplace. Our mission is to increase the effectiveness of our members' operations, programs, and customer relationships, while supporting the efficient and environmentally sound use of energy.

ComEd

Commonwealth Edison, for more than 100 years, has been the primary electric delivery services company for Northern Illinois. It currently provides electric service to more than 3.4 million customers. ComEd has recommitted its efforts to improving reliability, demonstrating quality customer service and providing energy efficiency incentives, tips and tools to help customers save money and protect the environment.

Resource Innovations

Resource Innovations led by Lauren Casentini, offers best-in-class program design and delivery of energy and water efficiency programs across all market sectors. The Resource Innovations executive team brings over 50 years of combined energy efficiency program experience, including innovations and enhancements to program delivery and customer service as well as strategic advisory services offered to senior leaders within IOUs and the broader distributed energy resources industry.
