There are many ways to cut down on energy and costs when it comes to buildings. One path is to focus on a building's lighting and HVAC systems as these account for roughly 60-70% of a typical building's total energy consumption. New lighting technologies such as LED fixtures, daylight harvesting, demand response, and task tuning strategies have led to significant energy savings. Similarly, advances in heat and cooling equipment efficiencies, water and air flow distribution systems, and HVAC control systems have led to improved occupant thermal comfort. However, even though these systems serve the same conditioned spaces, they often, by design, don't communicate to each other. In this webinar, we will explore best practices for integrating various building control systems.
