Isabella Gross

Associate, Building Codes & Policy

Isabella Gross is an Associate, Building Codes & Policy at MEEA, acting as a driving force in our mission to advance building energy code and benchmarking ordinance/BPS adoption, implementation and compliance. In her role, Isabella coordinates with other MEEA staff who work on building-related energy efficiency programs, represents MEEA at local, regional and national conferences and works to develop relationships with outside organizations in order to further MEEA’s mission.

With a background in nonprofit work, Isabella previously served as the Graduate Research and Policy Fellow at After School Matters, providing valuable support to their Research and Policy department during the 2022-2023 academic year. She also interned for the City of Chicago - Business Affairs and Consumer Protection Agency the year prior. Isabella holds a Masters in Public Policy and a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Policy from Loyola University Chicago.

In her spare time, Isabella enjoys exploring the city, watching as many movies as she can and spending time getting some fresh air outdoors.
