Senior Building Policy Associate

Corie Anderson is a Senior Building Policy Associate at MEEA. In this role, Corie is responsible for tracking and supporting energy code adoption efforts across our 13-state region. They also track energy code compliance and coordinate efforts for the energy code support program in Nebraska. In addition, Corie leads the planning of MEEA’s Annual Midwest Building Energy Codes Conference.

Previously, Corie worked as a Marketing and Communications Coordinator at Marillac St. Vincent Family Services and interned with Delta Institute and the Industrial Council of Nearwest Chicago. Corie holds a Master’s in Urban Planning and Policy from the University of Illinois at Chicago, with a concentration in Environmental Planning and Policy. They are also an accredited LEED Green Associate. In their spare time, Corie enjoys cooking, playing basketball and hanging out with their cat Otter.
