Ryan leads business development strategy and execution for a 25M+ R&D business unit covering energy efficiency, renewable energy & fuels, and post combustion carbon management in Buildings and Industry. Ryan also leads GTI Energy’s Emerging Technology Program, a utility collaborative of 30+ North American utilities working to identify, develop and deploy emerging decarbonization technologies. Ryan graduated magna cum laude from the University of Montana with a B.S. in International Business Management and Environmental Studies.

Ryan has served on the ASHRAE Decarbonization Task Force, NYSERDA Emerging Technology Advisory Committees, the San Juaquin Valley Clean Energy Organization Board, and as a Panel Leader for the ACEEE Summer Study on Energy Efficiency in Buildings three times. Ryan currently serves on the California ETCC Advisory Committee.

Ryan’s subject matter expertise includes Building Science, Emerging Technology Program Design and Execution, Integrated Energy Systems, Heat Pumps, and Energy Efficiency Measure and Program Development.
