Mid-West Energy Research Consortium (M-WERC)

The Mid-West Energy Research Consortium is focused on the growth and economic competitiveness of the Energy, Power & Control Industry cluster across the Midwest Region; consisting of the states of Wisconsin, Illinois, Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, Indiana, Michigan and Ohio.

M-WERC will help drive the Midwest Region and the United States to be energy independent based on usage of innovative solutions tied to energy related activities such as; generation, transmission, distribution, storage, automation, power conversion and energy efficiency / conservation.

Michaels Energy is nationally recognized in energy efficiency consulting. They provide technical, program management, evaluation, and administrative support for utility demand-side management programs. CenterPoint Energy

CenterPoint Energy is composed of an electric transmission and distribution utility serving the Houston metropolitan area, local natural gas distribution businesses in six states, a competitive natural gas sales and service business serving customers in the eastern half of the U.S., interstate pipeline operations with two natural gas pipelines in the mid-continent region, and a field services business with natural gas gathering operations, also in the mid-continent region.

Center for Energy and Environment

The Center for Energy and Environment (CEE) has researched technologies and implemented numerous programs that conserve energy for over 18 years. CEE assesses the effectiveness of energy efficiency and renewable energy technologies and is known for its application of in-depth monitoring and energy use analyses that assess whether buildings are operating at their peak efficiencies. This expertise is also applied to various projects within the organization including indoor air quality weatherization and sound insulation activities.

The American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy (ACEEE) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing energy efficiency as a means of promoting both economic prosperity and environmental protection.
