Real Estate Energy Audits

According to the National Association of REALTORS, 69% of realtors believe that promoting energy efficiency in listings is valuable. On the other hand, 62% are uncomfortable answering clients' questions about home performance.

The Real Estate Energy Audits Program, funded by Ameren Missouri and administered by MEEA, bridges this information gap by providing training and education opportunities in energy efficiency to Missouri real estate professionals. The program also encourages home energy audits by providing real estate professionals with a coupon they can distribute to their client for $200 off a professional home energy audit and a self-assessment worksheet that, when completed, will earn customers a $50 rebate and a customized list of recommendations for energy saving actions they can take at home.
