Real Estate Training

According to a survey by the National Association of REALTORS, 69% of REALTORS believe that promoting energy efficiency in listings is valuable. On the other hand, 62% are uncomfortable answering clients' questions about home performance. To help bridge this gap MEEA offers trainings and written materials that help agents and appraisers across Illinois and Missouri understand the value of energy efficient, high performing homes.

The programs we offer highlight the benefits of an energy efficient home, the tools that agents can use to effectively market these homes and resources that can help residents reduce energy use at home. The digital toolkit includes resource in English, Polish and Spanish about energy pricing programs available to many Illinois residents.
