Midwest ashp collab logoThe Midwest Air Source Heat Pump (ASHP) Collaborative was formed in 2022 to accelerate ASHP adoption in the Midwest. The Collaborative focuses on providing industry resources in the Midwest to address needs and overcome barriers to ASHP adoption and seeks to cross pollinate as a region and share best practices to advance ASHP technology in the Midwest.

The federal government has set a goal to transition America to net zero greenhouse gas emissions no later than 2050. From the Collaborative’s industry perspective, this means the future of home heating and cooling is heat pump technology.

The Collaborative’s goal is that by 2030, ASHP technology is the first choice for contractors and homeowners replacing heating systems or air conditioners, optimized to provide heating and cooling.

This initiative is delivered by Center for Energy and Environment (CEE) and Slipstream, in partnership with MEEA and Elevate.
