A US Department of Energy funded Weatherization Training Center, BPI test center, and Distance Learning innovator, AEA delivers up-to-date training preparing energy professionals, program staff, contractors, installers, and weatherization workers for key industry certifications from BPI, NREL, PHI, and ABAA. AEA’s Energy Auditor and Quality Control Inspector courses are IREC accredited. AEA is a leading advocate for multifamily energy efficiency, conference organizer of Multifamily Buildings 2011:The Energy Efficiency Edge in Chicago, and contributor to ongoing DOE initiatives to develop job task analyses, standard work specifications and technical guidelines to build a stronger home and building performance industry.
