SEMCO Energy Gas Company Waste Reduction Programs, Energy Evaluation, Measurement, and Verification (EM&V) Services RFP

SEMCO ENERGY Gas Company, headquartered in Port Huron, Michigan, is a regulated public utility that delivers natural gas to approximately 300,000 residential, commercial, and industrial customers in service territories in the southern half of the state's Lower Peninsula (including in and around the cities of Albion, Battle Creek, Holland, Niles, Port Huron, and Three Rivers) and in the central, eastern, and western parts of the state's Upper Peninsula.

SEMCO  files biannual Energy Waste Reduction (EWR) program plans with the Michigan Public Service Commission. The next plan will be for 2022-2023 and is to be filed in 2021.

SEMCO is soliciting proposals (“Proposal”) from qualified and experienced companies (each a “Bidder”) in providing independent evaluation, measurement, and verification (EM&V) services to validate the claimed energy savings for the EWR program. The EWR plan’s goal is to achieve a minimum of 1% gas use reduction per year. Learn more >
