Cities and states setting climate goals are looking to building policies like energy codes to increase energy efficiency in buildings. Setting those policies is only one piece of the climate change mitigation solution; compliance is key to actually achieving energy savings and greenhouse gas emissions reductions.

Energy code compliance does not happen automatically and often takes innovative approaches to have lasting impact. This webinar will highlight cities and states in the Midwest using energy codes to meet energy and climate goals. It will also explore strategies for increasing energy code compliance, including administering utility-funded energy code advancement and compliance programs and state-run energy code compliance collaboratives and training.
