Is one of the first questions a perspective client asks you “Do you have an infrared camera?” This course is designed for all levels of home performance professionals from newbies to seasoned experts. Attendees will receive practical application information on effectively using their IR camera.

The course is structured as a full day in the classroom followed by an optional but highly recommended additional half day of associated field experience. Instructor Brian Kumer will cover how to use your camera effectively to locate thermal bypasses and underperforming insulation with a blower door test, how to track down the sources of water leaks, and how to identify defective windows. Brian will tailor the class to the questions students have regarding camera use. “Put a picture to your problems with IR!”

Energy StarWho should attend? - Consultants, HVAC, insulation and air sealing contractors, home inspectors, energy auditors, architects, engineers, and remodelers. If you are thinking baout buying or upgrading your current camera or would like to use your camera to its potential to increase sales and diagnostic accuracy, this is the class for you! BPI CEUs will be available for all BPI certified professionals.
