Exterior Wall Dense Pack Insulation

Home Performance insulation contractors are expected to be able to deliver "dense pack" insulation services- is your company up for the challenge? Find out what "dense pack" means, what purpose it serves, and how it is measured. Attendees will receive critical training in the dense pack process, from the use of the correct machines and tools, to the "how to" on properly accessing wall and key juncture cavities and ensuring a final dense packed product. This is a two-part training session, consisting of a one day "in-class" training and demonstration session, followed up with an optional but highly encouraged half-day field experience.

Energy StarInstructor Keith Williams has over twenty years' expereience providing energy efficiency improvements in existing residential buildings. Keith specializes in hands-on training on procedures and techniques for properly providing dense pack services and has been providing exterior sidewall dense pack training throughout Illinois to home improvement contracting businesses for the past three years.

Who should attend? - Insulation installers, crew chiefs, supervisors; energy auditors; home performance consultants and contractors. BPI CEUS will be available for all BPI certified professionals.

Associated field experience sessions are for one half day the day after the full day course. As registration for each class opens, click the dates below to register:
