Impacts of Energizing Indiana Energy Efficiency Programs

With the introduction, and subsequent passage, of Indiana's 2014 Senate Bill 340, which ended the state's energy efficiency mandate, there was a need for information and data on how Indiana's energy efficiency programs benefited the state's businesses and residents, how much energy was saved over the duration of the Energizing Indiana programs, and to demonstrate real results that Indiana businesses achieved through participation in EE programs.

Midwest Energy Codes Needs Analysis

In December 2010, MEEA completed an Energy Codes Needs Analysis Report as part of a grant with the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL). Covering 13 Midwest states, this report highlights key state specific issues and barriers as they relate to code adoption, enforcement, and compliance. Specific topics covered include the state’s current energy code status, code barriers, definitive needs, and possible recommendations.
