Mari Bishop serves as a Program Associate at MEEA, working on the Lights for Learning, Savings Through Efficient Products (STEP) and Data Center programs, providing administrative, analysis, coordination and research support.
Mari has a passion for sustainability, focusing on energy and development-related initiatives. She has pursued this passion while working on projects such as a stakeholder analysis of the development of offshore wind energy in South Carolina, GHG and GRI reports and the launching of Project Safe Flight for the City of Atlanta, and the strengthening of the solar energy industry in Illinois.
Mari earned her bachelor’s degree in Biology and Geology, with Chemistry and Physics minors from the University of Wisconsin-Superior, and her master’s degree in Environmental Policy from the College of Charleston. Mari is also an active USGBC member. Mari loves learning new languages, culinary exploring, video games and the outdoors.
