Mitsubishi HVAC is committed to providing energy-efficient, eco-friendly cooling and heating solutions to home and building owners. We are continually developing products that include the latest in advanced comfort technology, innovative features and ultra-high efficiency. Our ductless split systems offer ratings as high as 26 SEER, and our Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) commercial systems enable heat to be recycled within the building envelope, conserving electricity and delivering custom comfort to the occupants. VRF zoning systems can help new or existing buildings earn essential points in the U.S. Green Building Council's LEED® ratings system under the "Energy & Atmosphere" and "Indoor Environmental Quality" categories and have been deployed on over 200 projects to date for this purpose.
Mitsubishi HVAC's Mr. Slim® P-Series Hyper-Heat INVERTER (H2i) systems received the 2009 Readers' Choice Award from Building Products magazine and was also a winner of Architectural Product's annual Product Reports. Our VRF H2i technology received a Top Product award from Building Operating Management magazine. These new systems use a patent- pending flash process to supply heating at extremely low temperatures. The outdoor unit will operate at 100 percent of rated heating capacity at 5° F, and at minus 13° F, the system operates at 70 percent of rated heating capacity. The H2i outdoor unit is the only heat pump of its kind that produces so much heat at such low temperatures, opening up applications for ultra-efficient heat pump operation in Northern and cold climates where heat pumps were not previously an option.
The current lineup of Mitsubishi HVAC systems includes 29 models that are ENERGY STAR® rated and 19 systems that qualify for the federal tax credit.
