Building Science Energy Services, BSES, provides assistance to energy optimization programs, BetterBuildings, EECBG funding and other programs that require the facilitation and implementation of multiple services for their programs including training, energy auditing, community and contractor outreach and quality assurance. The principals and staff of BSES have owned and operated several businesses for more than 30 years specializing in engineering, certification, general contracting, energy auditing, energy consulting and HVAC. With our large spectrum of auditors, BSES is able to provide auditing services and Quality Assurance programs in multiple geographic regions. Our highly qualified auditors have backgrounds in industry standards in the residential and commercial industries including ASHRAE, RESNET, Building Performance Institute (BPI), Building Operator Certification (BOC), and the United States Green Build Council (LEED). Our sister company Building Science Academy (BSA) has over 350 hours of building science curriculum and one of the most comprehensive energy retrofit training programs in the country. BSA assists utilities, implementation contractors, weatherization agencies, municipalities, and contractors with building science and weatherization training to assure full compliance with DOE guidelines, grants, and other federal programs.
